Bernoulli gives the ideal outlet speed √(2gH). At an elevated/high-speed section static pressure can be sub-atmospheric. If it reaches vapour pressure, cavitation/column separation can occur, so ideal Bernoulli cannot guarantee continuous siphon flow for arbitrary height.
